How do you assemble and use the PG05 feeder?

  • Snap Together: Align the top cylinder component with the bottom tray base and twist them firmly until they click into place. 
  • Height Adjustment: Hang the feeder using the top loop, keeping it level with the backs of your chickens so they can easily reach the feed without stepping in it. 
  • Block Moisture: If using it on the floor or ground, place the unit on top of a flat brick to raise it slightly and keep bottom dampness out. 

What type of chicken feed can I put in it?

It is compatible with all standard dry poultry feeds. This includes crumble, starter mash for baby chicks, grower feed, and layer pellets. Do not use wet or molasses-mixed feeds, as they cause blockages. 

How often should the feeder be cleaned?

You should completely empty, wash, and sanitize the feeder at least once a week. Regular cleaning stops dangerous bacteria and mold from building up in damp feed corners.
