1. Chickens & Poultry (Routine Roundworm, Cecal Worm & Capillaria)
  • Bulk Dose Rate: Mix 600g of Fluverm per tonne of feed (30 ppm).
  • Backyard Flock Dose: Mix 1 supplied measuring spoon (13g) of Fluverm into 21.5kg of compound feed.
  • Duration: Feed continuously as the primary food source for 7 consecutive days.
2. Chickens & Poultry (Active Tapeworm Treatment)
  • Bulk Dose Rate: Double the dose to 1200g of Fluverm per tonne of feed (60 ppm).
  • Backyard Flock Dose: Mix 2 supplied measuring spoons (26g) into 21.5kg of compound feed.
  • Duration: Feed continuously for 7 consecutive days.
3. Pigs (Gastrointestinal & Lungworms)
  • Flock/Herd Dose: Mix 600g of Fluverm per tonne of feed (30 ppm) for 10 consecutive days.
  • Individual Breeding Pigs: Administer 1 supplied measuring spoon (13g) per 130kg of body weight, thoroughly mixed into daily feed allotments.

Is there a meat withholding period for pigs and poultry?
Yes. For both chickens and pigs processed for commercial or private meat consumption, there is a strict 7-day meat withholding period. Medicated feed must be completely removed 7 days before slaughter.
Does Fluverm treat tapeworms in chickens?
Yes. Fluverm is highly effective against tapeworms (Raillietina spp.), but it requires a double dose (1200g per tonne or 26g per 21.5kg of feed) compared to standard roundworm treatments.
Are there any birds that cannot be given Fluverm?
