Can the SC13000-E charge sensitive electronic devices?

Yes, but you should exercise caution. While the integrated AVR protects standard equipment by cleaning up voltage fluctuations [11], it is a traditional open-frame mechanical generator rather than an inverter. For ultra-sensitive computers, it is safest to use an inline surge protector or UPS. 

What is the maintenance and service schedule?

According to the official Senci Service Guidelines:
  • First Service: After 1 month or the first 20 hours of operation.
  • Second Service: Every 3 months or 50 hours of use.
  • Routine Maintenance: Every 6 months (100 hours) for an oil change, and 12 months (300 hours) for deep engine servicing. 

Why is my Senci generator turning over but failing to start?

  • Low Oil Levels: The internal automatic shutdown switch prevents ignition if the crankcase oil dips below the safe line. Check and top up the oil. 
  • Trapped Air in Fuel System: If the generator sat empty, air pockets might form. Close the fuel valve, loosen the clamp on the fuel line to bleed out the air bubble until pure fuel flows, reattach, and restart. 

Where should the generator be safely positioned?

Always place the unit outdoors on a dry, level surface. Keep it a minimum of 2 meters (5 feet) away from structural windows, doors, or vents to avoid toxic carbon monoxide buildup inside the building.
