A: It is not recommended. Thick chocolate powders, sugars, or milk heated directly inside the pot can easily stick and burn onto the bottom heating plate, making it very difficult to clean and potentially damaging the internal heating elements.

A: Rinse the interior chamber out with water and a soft sponge. Never submerge the body of the pot or its power base completely in water, and keep the electrical connectors at the bottom completely dry.

A: Always use an ultra-fine powdery grind for authentic preparation. Regular drip or French press grinds are too coarse and will float to the surface instead of settling properly at the bottom of your cup.
